On 12 December, RCS, HK Branch held its annual Christmas Party at the Helena May. Attended by the British and Canadian Consuls General and around 50 guests, carols were sung by RCS choral scholar, Freddie Tsang.
The Commonwealth Cricket Cup | 23 Nov 2018
On 23 November Hong Kong held its first Commonwealth Cricket Cup at the Kowloon Cricket Club. The event was originally held earlier this year in New Delhi. Charity Concert | 25 Oct 2018
RCS, HK Branch, organized a charity concert at the residence of the Canadian Consul General on 25 October. Concert pianist, Jacqueline Leung, played pieces from Schumann, Bach, Gershwin and Chopin. Around $22,000 was raised for El Sistema, a charity which provides musical instruments and group training to disadvantaged young people in Tin Shui Wai.

On 10 October, RCS, HK Branch held a cocktail reception for 50 fellows and guests at which Dr Verner Bickley MBE and Dr Gillian Bickley presented the secret diaries of an American in China at the time of the Second Opium War. It was a colourful evocation of Hong Kong and China in the 1860s. […]
Mid-autumn concert | 20 Sep 2018
On 20 September, RCS, HK Branch organized a charity concert at the residence of the Australian Consul-General (which had luckily survived the recent super-typhoon) to raise funds for the RCS Vocal Scholarship at the Academy for Performing Arts. The concert had a lunar theme and around $40,000 was raised for the scholarship.
